If you are glancing at this page it is my guess you would like to know a little more about me.
My name is Sandra a forty-five year old mother, wife, sister and daughter. I am an educated woman who gave up her career to become a stay at home mom for the past eighteen years. I have supported my husband in his journey through the corporate world including moving eight times in the past seventeen years. The majority of my time has been spent looking after others but now I find myself in the unique position of looking after myself. It truly is an exciting time in my life. It is a time when I can reflect upon the past, change the present and look forward to the future.
Life is not a series of random circumstances that happen to you but rather a collection of choices you have made with the circumstances you find yourself in. You can choose to embrace the opportunities you have been given or complain about the opportunities you missed. You can watch life pass you by or become an active participant. I choose to live with not regrets and actively embrace all that comes my way! My dream would have been to be an artist but alas the talent God forgot about me when handing out the genes. Instead of whining about what I cannot have I choose to enjoy the talents of others and store my collection of personal “wanna be” art in a closet and simply enjoy the experience of creating.
Again Welcome to my Blog where I ramble about my thoughts on life as a mother, wife, daughter, sister and middle age woman!
